My Journey into glass
My stained glass journey began in 2017 with a weekend course in traditional stained glass. Inspired and eager to practice my new skills, I dove straight into creating door panels for my own home—perhaps overly ambitious for a first project, but it was an incredible learning experience that ignited my passion.
As friends and family began requesting pieces for their homes and gardens, it became clear that if I wanted to keep creating, I would have to sell the things I made. Turning my craft into a business was the natural next step.
As a natural magpie, I've always loved jewellery. I ran a small jewellery business before having children, so combining my love of glass work with jewellery design felt like coming full circle.
The addition of a kiln to my studio opened up an entirely new world of creative possibilities. It enables me to paint on glass and experiment with fused glass—a medium I find endlessly satisfying, especially when transforming it into jewellery.
I create everything in small batches, selling both locally and online. Every piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted by me in my studio in Farnham, Surrey.
